this weekend pretty much rocked

so, i think this weekend topped last. jamie, your wedding was wonderful, but i managed to not get so drunk i puked this weekend, i ate tons of scrumptious foods prepared by yours truly, i took a nap! (GASP), i played wii, i got to spend time with some of my favorite people and... i scrapped!

so, its getting to be that time of year again when comfort food calls my name. bread, potatoes, baked meals, crock-pot-itis, all that jazz. i've been a naughty girl and pulled out the bread machine. what can i say, i'm a sucker for some home-made bread. and since weight watchers is not a diet (haha, that's what they tell us), then i can work it in. tonight the hubs and i had philly steak and cheese sandwiches with that awesome sargento 2% provolone (if you have not had this, i suggest you try it out, its delish!) on the home-made bread. so.freaking.good!

last night zayna came over and we had baked chicken and rosted garlic potatoes with a big salad and then she brought angel food cake with strawberries and bananas and dryers no sugar added 1/2 the fat ice cream (which is also delicious for low fat). when i attempt to eat well, i'm always amazed at how good the food tastes. i find myself eating slower and savoring it, so i really do eat less. or at least that's the bullshit i feed myself so i think i'm doing well... and hey, to be honest it usually works.

i made the finals at purple onion! so... that's why i can't post anything, i'm working on my next round of submissions for them. I'll have them up soon!
