the weddin day

my best bud in the whole world got married on saturday @ a beautiful little house in the country with everyone there to share in her special day. everything went as planned. we woke up far too early, consumed yummy starbucks, got our hair done, make-up applied by goddesses at the tacoma mall, and whisked ourselves off (under umbrellas of course, as it was pouring down rain... yes, we do live in washington after all). thank goodness rain is good luck, ha! we rushed around and primped and drank beers and walked down isles and blew bubbles and gave toasts and laughed and danced. all in all, it was a swell time! in fact, i even barfed on the way home from a little too much 'swellness'. yeah, that's what we'll call it... 'swigging the swellness'.

thank goodness it was dark, i'm sure i was a sight... hair done, makeup perfect, hands and knees in a party dress in someone's lawn, hubby sticking his finger down my throat, and barfing till the cows came home. yes. yes. i am classy. i am classy.

also, i want to share a few shots i got at the wedding...not be outdone by the insanely wonderful photographer, heather... i took a few photos myself. okay, so i took 400 pictures... what can i say, i'm an amateur and i figure if i take enough, i'll get a handful of good ones. i also found a new technique today as i was looking at a favorite flickr account of mine. i googled ttv and was really surprised at what i found. i also located a killer tutorial and with some help from steph, edited a few of these puppies.
